1947 Republic RC-3 Seabee

The Hillier Air Museum's most recent project has been the restoration of a 1947 Republic RC-3 Seabee.  This Seabee, N6518K, has been in the process of restoration since May of 2004.   Currently, N6518K has been completed and was flown for the first time in September of 2007.

On September 29, 2007, the Seabee was flown to New Melones Reservoir to take pictures and video of this plane in action.  Included in the picture slideshow are some great air-to-air shots taken from the museum's Cessna 206 on the way to the reservoir.  Seabee Picture Slideshow (9/29/07)
